Description
Playfully known as the “One Night Stand,” this Rosato spends just a night with its skins — long enough to blush that perfect pink and gather a whisper of Sangiovese’s bold spirit. The rest is all light, laughter, and charm.
Bright with wild strawberry, quince, and citrus zest, it’s the kind of wine that doesn’t ask for permission to open another bottle. Fermented in stainless steel, it stays crisp and pure, the way sunlight feels on stone after a long afternoon.
This is Sangiovese in silk pajamas — elegant, flirtatious, and easy to love. Made for long lunches, spontaneous dinners, and stories that stretch past midnight.
Region
Montalcino is one of those places that feels almost unreal, like the universe decided to paint with extra sunlight and extra magic. Rolling hills, golden vineyards, and tiny stone villages all blend into a landscape that seems to glow from within. South of Siena and held safely in the arms of Monte Amiata, the vines catch warm Tuscan days and cool breezes at night, which gives the fruit its perfect mix of juicy energy and calm confidence.
The soils are filled with ancient marine minerals and soft clay, and they give the wines their structure and quiet strength. The sunlight does the rest, lifting everything into a bright, easy feeling that tastes like summer afternoons and long conversations.
Montalcino carries centuries of tradition, but it still feels fresh, young, and full of life. A sip from this region feels like the land is giving you a wink.
Winemaker
The Brunelli family has been part of Montalcino for generations. After a short time in the city years ago, Mauro Brunelli and Anna Savini came back to their family farm and decided to rebuild their life among the vines. With only a few hectares and a lot of heart, they planted the first seeds of what would become Martoccia.
In the 1990s, their son Luca stepped in, and the family released their first wines. Since then, they have expanded to twenty five hectares, with fifteen under vine and six dedicated entirely to Brunello di Montalcino.
Martoccia keeps things real. They farm with intention, harvest at low yields, and stay focused on quality over quantity. Their wines taste like family stories, late night laughter, and the kind of authenticity you can feel.
Perfect energy for ZaZaZa.
